Solution Architect - SAP MDG Technical Architect

Overview
Lead the design and implementation of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions across domains such as Customer, Vendor, Material, and Finance. Define technical architecture and integration strategies with SAP S/4HANA and non-SAP systems. Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. Develop and manage data models, UI configurations (FPM/MDG UI), BRF+ rules, and workflow designs. Guide development teams on custom enhancements using ABAP, BADI, and data replication frameworks. Ensure clean core principles using SAP BTP, APIs, and extensibility options. Conduct performance tuning, code reviews, and ensure adherence to SAP best practices. Provide technical leadership throughout project lifecycles including blueprinting, realization, testing, and go-live. Stay updated on SAP MDG innovations and mentor junior consultants. Your role Lead end-to-end technical design and delivery of SAP MDG solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical architecture with business goals. Oversee development of custom enhancements and integrations using SAP technologies. Ensure solution scalability, performance, and compliance with SAP standards. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and developers. Support project phases including blueprinting, testing, deployment, and post-go-live. Maintain alignment with SAP’s roadmap and advise on future-state architecture. Skills and Experience
8+ years of experience in SAP MDG and S/4HANA technical architecture. Strong expertise in ABAP, BRF+, FPM, BADI, and SAP BTP integration. Proven track record in designing and implementing MDG workflows and UI configurations. Experience with data replication frameworks and integration with non-SAP systems.
