The Department of Ophthalmology, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is accepting applications for a full-time, fixed-term faculty position in Cornea and External Disease. Responsibilities include patient surgical and medical care of cornea/external diseases, providing high quality resident and medical student training, and participation in clinical and/or basic research. Academic rank and salary will be based on experience and credentials. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

MD or DO required. Selected candidate must be fellowship trained in corneal and external diseases, and have successfully completed a fully accredited residency-training program in ophthalmology. North Carolina licensure or eligibility is required to finalize appointment. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible. Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
