Join Clarkson University as an Assistant/Associate Professor of Physical Therapy (Part- Time). The Physical Therapy Department in the Lewis School of Health Sciences invites applicants for a part-time core faculty position. The successful candidate will teach graduate physical therapy, mentor graduate student capstone projects, advise students, and participate in departmental activities. A doctorate or equivalent degree in physical therapy and qualification to teach clinical courses are required. Responsibilities include: Teach clinical and didactic DPT courses Supervise student research projects Advise students Participate in departmental activities and service duties Contribute to course and programmatic outcomes assessment and continuous curricular improvement Contribute to institutional and professional service Minimal Qualifications: Possess a DPT degree and an APTA board certified clinical specialization Be eligible for New York state PT licensure Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds Preferred Qualifications: PT degree and an academic doctoral degree 3 years of clinical teaching experience Strong evidence of excellence in teaching at the graduate level Clarkson University is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer and encourages applications from veterans and people with disabilities.
