The ideal candidate must possess an earned Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Educational Leadership or a closely related field from an accredited institution with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching graduate-level courses and service. Experience as a practicing educational leader, such as a principal, assistant superintendent, or superintendent, is strongly preferred. Preference will be given to applicants with a strong work ethic, interpersonal and teamwork skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, a positive disposition, and superior working relations with students, peers, administrators, and others. Experience in teaching courses through Blackboard and web-course development is highly desired; preference will be given to candidates with online course design experience and the ability to lead a remote team. Primary Responsibilities:

Must be capable of teaching a broad range of graduate-level Education courses, including courses in Educational Leadership. Responsibilities include teaching, supervising practicum and internship students, and active participation in departmental and university activities. Teaching assignments are web-based. The director must be approachable, available, and fully committed to building and maintaining a principal pipeline for K-12 partners by recruiting and training quality principal candidates. This role emphasizes recruitment of school district partners and building connections with district leaders. Effective management skills such as sophisticated time management, organizational skills, and willingness to travel are essential. This position is security sensitive. Other Information:
