Role Description Responsibilities

Financial Oversight: Oversee accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, billing and cash flow.

Reconcile bank accounts.

Collaborate with department managers to analyze weekly cash activity.

Assist in monthly closing procedures ensuring accuracy in general ledger activity including adjusting journal entries, accruals, inter-company transactions, and job cost allocations.

File Sales State Tax.

Compliance & Auditing: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, laws, and internal policies.

Analyze payroll liabilities to ensure compliance with unions, Federal and State agencies.

Provide documentation for annual audits and reviews.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Collaborate with project controls to adhere to strict reporting deadlines.

Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor accounting staff.

Assign projects and ensure accuracy and compliance.

Improve systems and initiate corrective actions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).

Experience in construction accounting preferred.

5–8 years of experience in accounting or financial management.

Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and financial regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software and Excel including pivot tables and vlookup.

High attention to detail and analytical skills.

Leadership and communication abilities.

Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: 110-120K
