Overview
Manager of Accounting - FinTech Firm in High Growth. Our client is a high-growth FinTech SaaS firm headquartered in NYC seeking an Accounting Manager reporting to the Controller. The team is hands-on with a blended Accounting & FP&A role. This professional will drive accounting/financials across the business, work with all business lines, and assist with FP&A budgeting and forecasting. The role partners with the CFO, Executive Management Team, as well as Sales and Legal. Responsibilities
Manage Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and P&L for month, quarter, and year-end close and financial reporting. Track revenue, margins, and cost metrics in collaboration with stakeholders across the business. Prepare forecasts, budgeting, monitor and track cash flow reports, and identify variances. Review customer invoicing processes and contractual agreements to reconcile revenue. Perform key elements of the financial cycle and supporting subsidiary processes. Manage detailed variance and fluctuation analyses. Assist FP&A with accounting interpretations for budgeted transactions. Assist in the annual audit. Skills/Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required; CPA preferred. 6+ years of accounting experience (Public or Private), with experience in Technology, SaaS, or Financial Technology a plus. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Revenue Recognition. Experience with general ledger and financial analysis, including journal entries and detailed account analyses. Seniority level
