Job Description
Support multiple Amcor Rigid Packaging North America Beverage Business Unit segments in various commercial activities /initiatives to ensure customer satisfaction and attainment of volume, sales revenue, and profitability objectives. Support Segment Commercial Teams with an emphasis on 1) Pricing and Cost Recovery activities, 2) Contract management support, 3) Competitive trend analysis and 4) Out of market risk assessment. Essential Responsibilities And Duties
Monitor and maintain Customer contract database for business segments and key contract provisions affecting pricing including non-resin raw material cost changes, energy surcharge programs, PPI changes, automatic renewals, underutilization clauses, freight terms, etc. Responsible for driving ongoing commercial freight recovery program for business segments. Collaborate with Sales & Marketing groups to monitor competitive pricing and analyze market trends for business segments. Utilize pricing/quotation databases including development of quotation performance metrics. Work with commercial and marketing groups to identify pricing trends for different market segments. Participate on Commercial Account Teams including preparation and review of profitability improvement actions, proactive account planning, supply option and capital expenditure justification and analysis of customer and product profitability. Assist with the development of Regional and National account pricing and proposals utilizing ARPNA pricing tools, “market pricing” reports, Next Best Alternative analysis, freight costs, win/loss and competitive intelligence information. Financial analysis – Work with account managers to evaluate variances, leakage plugs, plant-specific issues and next best alternative (NBA) analysis for contract negotiations. Utilize available tools (SAP, Salesforce, Line Costing, Pocket Margin Database etc) for opportunity analysis, datamining, and customer/product profitability improvement plans. Provide ad hoc financial analysis in support of business growth initiatives. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related field 2-4 years of experience in a financial capacity Strong systems skills/aptitude (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, ERP systems) Strong analytical/problem solving skills Effective team player and facilitator Strong written, verbal and presentation skills Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment. Ability to work cross functionally across the organization e.g., finance, commercial, supply chain, product development, operations Competencies
