University of Miami . The UHealth-University of Miami Health System IT Department has an opportunity for a full-time Epic Analyst - Professional Billing. Core Responsibilities: Serve as a support contact for application end-users, identify issues, and resolve them. Design, develop, implement, and maintain the application. Support all phases of testing and document workflow design. Analyze information technology in clinical work processes and validate impacts. Provide day-to-day application support, evaluate and resolve service tickets, implement changes, and retrieve data. Collaborate with trainers on application changes and develop documentation and training strategies. Assist with analyzing the impact of information technology in clinical workflows. Participate in on-call rotations and support. Attend and participate in committees. Maintain communication with team members and participate in project meetings. Review project status with leadership. Learn about UHealth’s policies, procedures, and operations. Adhere to policies and safeguard assets. Department Specific Functions: Understanding of revenue cycle management or billing operations experience. Travel during go-lives, conferences, and meetings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong problem-solving skills. Dependability and ownership of work. Critical thinking abilities. This list is not exhaustive and may include additional duties. Core Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Experience with Resolute Professional Billing and Single Billing Office. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Effective communication skills. Ability to develop interpersonal relationships. Problem recognition and resolution skills. Leadership and training abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
