Senior Associate, CFO Services - (Digital Finance) for Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI). OPEN TO ALL US LOCATIONS. A&M’s Private Equity Performance Improvement Services (PEPI) practice works with private equity held portfolio companies to preserve and generate value. The goal is to improve transparency to key drivers and business performance, support cash and EBITDA growth, and provide hands-on involvement in clients’ operations. The job is to help PE firms ensure their portfolio companies have credible plans and the ability to execute and deliver financial outcomes. PEPI CFO Services – Digital Finance

Digital Finance Transformation Expertise and proven implementation experience Experience in assessing Finance and Accounting functions, and implementing Digital technologies to improve efficiency and transparency Finance & Accounting Process improvement expertise & process automation Knowledge of Digital Finance tools and vendors Expertise implementing Digital tools for Finance in large public corporations or mid-size PE owned Portfolio Companies Expertise in building Predictive Forecasting Models Hypothesis / Scope Development
Connect with client to facilitate information gathering Guide and facilitate client interviews and ensure all relevant data are considered and pursued Define analyses needed to prove or disprove assumptions; ensure complete, accurate, timely execution Apply industry and functional knowledge to identify business drivers and issues Develop framework given project parameters and develop actionable conclusions Project Management and Implementation; lead components of projects with multiple service lines and smaller projects independently Proactively manage client expectations and minimize risks Develop straightforward actionable plans and lead individual workstreams Design cash generating initiatives, EBITDA improvements, and optimal organizational structure to drive client value Anticipate risks and obstacles; create contingency plans and communicate timely with client Engage with senior management; obtain buy‑in from senior leadership/board on actionable plans Professional Expectations
Data Collection, Validation and Analysis: develop information requests, lead client interviews, identify information gaps, and perform trend analyses Investigate beyond first answers with fact-based analytics; deep dive into data; improve management reporting and forecasting Develop storyline messages with supporting facts and ensure data/branding standards are consistent Project Management and Implementation: review work products; set timelines; develop financial models and client presentations independently Develop bespoke solutions with creative approaches during unprecedented times Teamwork: promote a team environment, share knowledge, and coach teammates Financial Acumen: build financial models and analyze impacts on profit and balance sheet Qualifications
Graduate of accredited 4-year college/university in accounting, finance, or economics preferred but not required Experience in at least two of: RPA, Predictive Forecasting, Finance Analytics, NLG, data visualization 3–7 years of experience related to Accounting/Finance, Financial Due Diligence, Restructuring, Investment Banking, or Private Equity Complete proficiency in understanding financial models, data analytics, and presentations CPA, CFA, MBA, or Master’s Degree preferred but not required The salary range is $100,000 - $160,000 annually, dependent on education, experience, skills, and geography. A discretionary bonus program is offered, based on individual and firm performance. Please consult the recruiter for details.
