Auto Casualty Claims Supervisor . The Auto Casualty Claims Management Team will be responsible for the direct supervision of the Auto Casualty Claims unit, ensuring compliance with state-mandated claims handling guidelines, and proper investigation and conclusion of claims. The team will monitor production, staff development, and the quality of files assigned to the unit. Duties & Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and provide direction to the Auto Casualty Unit staff members. Conduct file and diary reviews to monitor adjusters' work and ensure appropriate investigation, documentation, and fair claim settlement practices. Place authority levels on claim files based on investigation of facts and approve settlement checks within authority. Review reports and support the implementation of procedures to improve claim settlement and customer service levels. Oversee the implementation and monitoring of procedures to assure effectiveness and compliance. Determine training needs of the department and establish programs to ensure training needs of personnel and processes. Work with staff on litigation handling for cases. Develop and manage a cost-effective defense strategy. Identify systems issues, problems, and suggestions for enhancements. Manage administrative functions of the unit. Qualifications Required
5+ years of auto liability claims, PD, casualty claims, and/or supervisory experience. Strong technical and administrative background in auto claims handling. Ability to work independently on technical and administrative matters in accordance with company policy and procedures. Good leadership, training, and development skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Benefits
