This is a crucial role in our corporate office located in Gainesville, FL, where you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable process while ensuring timely payment of invoices and maintaining accurate financial records. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting our financial operations, collaborating with various departments to ensure accuracy and compliance throughout the payment process. Base pay range $45,000.00/yr - $55,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Build a positive culture with co-workers Provide daily support to frontline staff Check and distribute incoming mail Receive and assist with incoming phone calls Process and code invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Enter and process recurring bills Serve as a point of contact for vendors, resolving payment issues, discrepancies, and answering queries Maintain accurate files and records Qualifications
3+ years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role Experience with multi-location company and use of allocations Proficiency with accounting software; Sage Intacct is a plus Experience/strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger Experience with Excel Experience in Purchasing a plus Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience with high daily volume of invoice entry Benefits
