Partner with Project Managers, Finance, and Leadership to ensure the financial health of projects. Manage all project financial records, including billing, revenue recognition, and reporting. Drive timely and accurate invoicing and coordinate with Project Managers for approvals. Analyze financial data, Work In Progress (WIP), and gross profit variances to keep projects on track. Research unbilled issues, discrepancies, and payments to maintain accuracy and compliance. Support accounts receivable and cash application to improve collections. Set up and maintain projects in Deltek Vantagepoint ERP, ensuring accuracy from day one. Oversee sub-consultant invoicing, approvals, and contract-terms compliance. Assist with project audits, monthly close, and provide insights to senior leadership. Qualifications
Must Haves: 3–5 years of project accounting experience, ideally in a project-based billing environment. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Strong proficiency with GAAP, technical accounting, internal controls, and financial close processes. Experience acting as a lead on external auditing processes. Nice to Haves: Experience in the A/E/C or construction industry. Expertise in Percentage of Completion / Construction Accounting. What You’ll Be Part Of
