$49,348.00/yr - $74,022.00/yr What You’ll Do

Partner with Project Managers, Finance, and Leadership to ensure the financial health of some of our most exciting and visible projects. Manage all project financial records, ensuring accurate billing, revenue recognition, and reporting. Drive timely and precise invoicing while coordinating with Project Managers to secure approvals. Analyze financial data, WIP, and gross profit variances to keep projects on track. Research unbilled issues, discrepancies, and payments to maintain accuracy and compliance. Support accounts receivable and cash application efforts to improve collections. Set up and maintain projects in Deltek Vantagepoint ERP, ensuring accuracy from day one. Oversee sub-consultant invoicing, approvals, and compliance with contract terms. Assist with project audits, monthly close, and provide insights to senior leadership. What You Bring

Must Haves: 3–5 years of project accounting experience, ideally within a project-based billing environment. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Strong proficiency with GAAP, technical accounting, internal controls, and financial close processes. Proven experience acting as a point person and lead on the external auditing process. Nice to Haves: Experience in the A/E/C or construction industry. Expertise in Percentage of Completion / Construction Accounting. What You’ll Be Part Of

The rate for this position generally ranges between $49,348 and $74,000. This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the New York Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful New York applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in New York or perform the position from New York. Similar positions located outside of New York will not necessarily receive the same compensation. Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by New York Equal Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employees already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law.
