Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our team in Katy, Texas. In this high-impact role, you will be a key player in shaping our company's financial strategies through in-depth analysis, forecasting, and actionable insights. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with executive leadership in a dynamic, growing and global organization and contribute directly to business growth and performance. Essential Job Functions
Lead comprehensive budgeting and forecasting efforts aligned with strategic initiatives. Perform detailed variance analysis to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare financial presentations for the Board of Directors and executive leadership. Conduct thorough analysis of income statements and balance sheets to support operational decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial goals and performance targets are aligned. Leverage Power BI to enhance and streamline financial reporting and data analysis. Execute ad hoc financial analyses to support urgent and high-priority business decisions. Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and ensure achievement of financial objectives. Identify and implement best practices in financial planning and analysis to improve efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounting, Economics or other business-related field 5+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or related finance roles. Experience working in a multinational company is a plus. Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Strong proficiency in income statement and balance sheet analysis, preferably for a mid-size to large multi-national organization. Hands-on experience with ad hoc financial modeling to support strategic decision-making. Experience with Oracle, Hyperion (HFM), SmartView or similar ERP financial systems. Experience with Power BI for producing dashboards and reporting is a plus. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
