The Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A NA plays a critical role in supporting the North America Finance team through strategic planning, performance tracking, and insightful financial analysis. This role leads the budgeting and forecasting processes, monitors performance across brands and categories, and delivers actionable insights to drive business decisions. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, systems‑savvy (SAP, Hyperion, SmartView), and thrives in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment. A strong sense of ownership and attention to deadlines is essential to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities Financial Analysis & Reporting
Develop and maintain monthly financial reports that track performance across brands and product categories in the North America region.
Analyze variances and trends versus plan and forecast; collaborate with Brand FP&A to gather commentary on key drivers.
Monitor departmental spend for Marketing and Commercial teams and provide monthly variance analysis with insights.
Prepare presentations for monthly management reviews.
Leverage tools such as Power BI, Hyperion, and advanced Excel models to enhance and standardize reporting process across NA FP&A teams.
Planning & Forecasting
Support monthly forecast cycles and annual budget development for North America.
Build and maintain comprehensive financial reporting packages.
Partner with Brand Finance, Sales, and Marketing to ensure financial plans align with strategic brand goals.
Ad‑hoc Analysis & Projects
Conduct deep‑dive analyses on departmental, media or other P&L lines.
Assist in tracking ROI metrics for marketing investments.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing reporting and forecasting accuracy.
Support team with tracking actual expenses, planning and forecasting brand support (advertising & promotions) expense.
Knowledge and Skills Required
Finance and accounting background.
Strong financial planning/analysis, financial systems, modeling, analytical reasoning, accounting and reporting skills to independently build models and formulate conclusions.
Organized, accountable, self‑motivated and must demonstrate attention to detail.
Financial Reporting Systems experience, preferably Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Smartview and Essbase Planning as well as SAP ERP and BW.
Experience with manufacturing companies/CPG/FMCG preferred.
Comfortable in fast‑paced environment and able to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate and interact with all levels of management; must be flexible and able to adjust communication style based upon different audiences.
Able to see the big picture / think broadly while also diving down into operational and execution details.
Experience with presentation preparation for Leadership Team, etc. a plus.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in FMCG or consumer products industry.
Prior experience supporting marketing or brand finance strongly preferred.

The base pay range for this position is $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year; however base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job‑related knowledge, and geographic location. Certain positions may also be eligible for short‑term incentives as part of total compensation.
