Inside Sales Representative

Air Energy Group is a subsidiary within Flow Control Group (FCG), a holdings company providing flow control, fluid handling, process, industrial automation, and life sciences solutions with locations across North America. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for generating sales, building customer relationships, and providing exceptional service through phone, email, and digital communications. This role focuses on identifying opportunities, qualifying leads, processing orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction to drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities
Proactively contact existing and potential customers to promote products and services.
Respond to inbound inquiries, provide quotes, and follow up to close sales.
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Maintain regular communication with assigned accounts to strengthen relationships.
Prepare and process sales orders accurately and in a timely manner.
Coordinate with operations, logistics, and accounting to ensure order fulfillment.
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions in the CRM system.
Research and qualify new sales leads.
Manage and update the sales pipeline to ensure accurate forecasting.
Collaborate with outside sales and marketing teams on lead generation efforts.
Address customer questions, concerns, and issues quickly and professionally.
Provide technical or product information to assist customers in decision-making.
Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department for resolution.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
1–3 years of sales or customer service experience (inside sales experience preferred).
Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and online communication tools.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
