About The Job
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Account Manager to manage and grow relationships with our specialty retail partners. The role involves driving sales, providing excellent customer service, conducting sales analysis, and ensuring our brand presence aligns with each retail partner's vision. You will play a key role in expanding our market share in North America, driving sales growth, executing brand initiatives across channels, and strengthening retail partnerships. As a senior team member, you will lead by example, collaborate cross-functionally, and leverage your sales analysis expertise to influence business decisions and accelerate growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Account Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value specialty retail accounts across the US, Canada, and Mexico, including premium beauty chains, department stores, and online retailers. Sales Leadership:
Drive significant sales growth within assigned accounts by developing and executing tailored omni-channel strategies. Meet or exceed revenue and market share targets. Sales Analysis & Reporting:
Lead analysis of sales data, trends, and KPIs. Use insights to make informed decisions, refine strategies, and optimize account performance. Forecasting and Planning:
Provide accurate sales forecasts and demand planning to cross-functional teams for regular and expansion categories/products. Product Education & Training:
Offer product training and brand education to retail partners to enable effective selling and promotion. Merchandising:
Collaborate with retailers on product placement, visual merchandising, and in-store promotions, including planograms and sales floor strategies. Marketing & Promotions:
Support marketing initiatives, promotions, and new product launches to increase traffic and sales. Client Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and buyers at retail accounts, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction. Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis:
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly. Leadership & Collaboration:
Foster a high-performing team culture and collaborate with marketing, logistics, and operations teams to ensure effective service delivery. Travel:
Travel as needed for client meetings, business reviews, industry events, and in-store activations. Requirements: 8+ years of experience in account management or sales, preferably in the beauty industry or with specialty retailers; experience with Ulta or Sephora is preferred. Proven success in managing key retail accounts and driving sales growth. Strong understanding and passion for the beauty industry, including trends, products, and customer preferences. Experience with sales analysis, data interpretation, and strategy adjustment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building lasting relationships. Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts, and stay organized. Strong negotiation and presentation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Willingness to travel up to 10+ days per month. Seniority level
