RumbergerKirk is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate Attorney with 2-3 years of experience. An interest in education law is a plus. This is an opportunity to work across a wide range of practice areas, including education law, employment and labor (both public and private representation), personal injury and general tort work including negligent hiring, training, supervision, and retention claims, as well as assisting in employer investigations and alternative dispute resolution processes. This position is ideal for an attorney who is looking to take on meaningful work, develop expertise in the field, and have direct input into case strategy and client management. Represent clients in all phases of litigation.
Manage cases from inception to trial with the supervising partner.
Conduct depositions, attend hearings, mediations, and argue motions.
Interview witnesses, expert depositions, negotiate with opposing counsel.
Conduct legal research, draft motions, memoranda, settlement agreements, and trial documents.
Qualifications
Strong academic credentials.
Excellent research and writing abilities.
Exceptional attention to detail, strong legal research skills and a strong work ethic.
Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida.
