Overview

The Cayman office of this highly-regarded global offshore firm are currently looking for a high calibre corporate lawyer with between 6 - 8 years' PQE. You will need to be admitted in either the UK, Australia, New Zealand or Canada and have gained your experience at a top-flight international or offshore firm. The team acts for a blue-chip client base that includes major international financial institutions, multinational businesses, global investment firms and leading onshore law firms. The role will cover all aspects of corporate and finance transaction matters such as financing, banking, private equity, insurance/reinsurance, structuring and restructuring, investment funds, investments relating to lending, fund finance, asset finance, as well as capital markets, joint ventures, digital assets, asset management, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, M&A, etc.

Responsibilities

Handle corporate and finance transaction matters across a range of sectors and clients.

Work on financing, banking, private equity, insurance/reinsurance, structuring and restructuring, investment funds, lending-related investments, fund finance, and asset finance.

Involvement in capital markets, joint ventures, digital assets, asset management, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.

Support M&A deals and related corporate work, with opportunities for client contact and business development.

Qualifications

Between 6 and 8 years’ PQE in corporate law.

Admission to practice in the UK, Australia, New Zealand or Canada.

Experience at a top-flight international or offshore firm.
