Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) Services offers solutions to preserve and generate value for private equity portfolio companies. The Manager, CFO Services - Digital Finance leads digital finance initiatives to improve transparency, cash generation, EBITDA, and execution of financial plans across client engagements.

Digital Finance Transformation expertise with proven implementation experience
Proven track record in assessing Finance and Accounting functions and implementing digital technologies to improve efficiency and transparency (RPA, Finance Analytics, NLG, Predictive Forecasting models)
Finance and Accounting process improvement and process automation
Knowledge of Digital Finance tools and vendors
Experience implementing Digital Finance tools for Finance in large public corporations or mid-size PE-owned portfolio companies
Expertise in building predictive forecasting models
Hypothesis / Scope Development
Connect with client to facilitate information gathering
Guide and facilitate client interviews to ensure relevant data are considered
Define analyses needed to prove or disprove assumptions and ensure timely execution
Apply industry and functional knowledge to identify business drivers and issues
Develop framework given project parameters and develop actionable conclusions
Project management and implementation; lead components of projects with multiple service lines
Proactively manage client expectations and minimize risks
Develop straightforward, actionable plans and lead workstreams independently
Design cash generation initiatives, EBITDA improvements, and optimal organizational structure
Anticipate risks and communicate contingencies to the client
Engage with senior management to obtain buy-in on actionable plans
Leadership
Leverage industry expertise and prior professional services experience to guide the team
Manage client relationships during the project
Take accountability for issues and build complementary teams
Demonstrate financial acumen with proficiency in financial modeling and statements analysis
Drive P&L and balance sheet accountability and support change management
Interpret financial statements and streamline finance processes
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited 4-year college/university in accounting, finance, economics, or related field (preferred but not required)
Experience with Digital Finance technologies (RPA, Predictive Forecasting, Finance Analytics, NLG, data visualization)
8+ years in Accounting/Finance, Financial Due Diligence, Restructuring, Investment Banking or Private Equity
Proficiency in understanding financial models, data analytics, and presentation skills
CPA, CFA, MBA, or Master’s Degree preferred but not required
Salary & Benefits The salary range is $125,000-$190,000 annually, dependent on education, experience, and location. A discretionary bonus program is offered based on individual and firm performance; details available from the recruiter.
