Overview
ADC Engineer I, Platform Engineering & Emerging Technology at AWS (Amazon Web Services). This position involves implementing innovative cloud computing solutions and operating at scale within AWS infrastructure, including work with U.S. Government agencies. Responsibilities
Manage and monitor systems health and status Provision devices, assist with data ingestion, and device cleaning Troubleshoot device, network, and configuration issues Identify, document, and communicate engineering and operations recommendations to the team Write and disseminate after-action reports capturing key events, actions taken, and future mitigation plans Provide on-call support when necessary Basic Qualifications
A+ or CND (Certified Network Defender) or Network+ or Security+, or certification in an applicable field like A+, Net+, Sec+, CCNA, LPIC, Linux+, AWS certification 1+ years of systems administration experience (Linux/Windows) In lieu of above relevant work experience, a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph Preferred Qualifications
3+ years experience with cloud computing technologies 3+ years of networking experience 3+ years of experience with support procedures and methodologies for production computing environments Experience automating routine tasks Experience with performance and log analysis Note: The candidate must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph and may need to opt into a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which AWS work is performed.
