Overview

The PEET US ADC Periphery team is hiring an Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) Engineer II to support development in ADC regions across a variety of AWS services including AWS Wickr and other emerging technology services! You\'ll design, deploy, monitor, and automate infrastructure, tools and systems to provide a highly-available and resilient platform for our customers\' and our team\'s workloads. This is an exciting opportunity to use the latest cloud computing technologies to help U.S. Government agencies implement innovative cloud computing solutions and solve technical problems. AWS established a specialized group of service teams responsible for the work we are doing with the U.S. Intelligence Community. We are building some of the largest and most complex distributed systems in the world, and we need adaptable people to help us implement and operate them. Responsibilities

Design, deploy, monitor, and automate infrastructure, tools and systems to provide a highly-available and resilient platform for customers and team workloads. Support AWS Wickr services for US Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) customers and work with other emerging technologies on ADC projects. Clearance and Security

This position requires that the candidate selected must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance. The position further requires that, after start, the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work. Basic Qualifications

Associate\'s degree, or Cloud+ or GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) or GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials) or SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner) 3+ years of systems administration experience (Linux/Windows). 1+ years experience working with scripting languages. 3+ years of networking experience. Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above Preferred Qualifications

3+ years experience with cloud computing technologies. 3+ years of experience with support procedures and methodologies for production computing environments. Experience with performance and log analysis. Equal Opportunity

The base pay for this position ranges from $105,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $216,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
