Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a highly qualified professional for the Information Technology System Administrator L3 role. This position supports Department of Defense (DoD) classified programs by managing complex IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and applications, while ensuring secure and reliable operations at classified and compartmented security levels. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in system and network administration, including installation and maintenance of LAN/WAN servers, troubleshooting issues, preparing systems for deployment, and mitigating vulnerabilities. Advanced troubleshooting skills, knowledge of system architecture, security protocols, and disaster recovery are essential. A solid background in cybersecurity is required, with proven ability to maintain compliance with JSIG and RMF standards. The candidate should also work effectively with ISSMs, ISSOs, and ISSEs to uphold the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical systems. Responsibilities

Conduct daily management, operations, and maintenance of systems and networks, including cybersecurity tasks for Collateral, SCI, and SAP activities, ensuring JSIG and RMF compliance. Operate enterprise SIEM tools to configure event alarms, generate summary reports, and monitor ongoing security incidents and residual risks. Evaluate technical risks of new cybersecurity tools and procedures, contributing to incident response activities. Assess the security posture of servers, network devices, and security appliances for accuracy and performance. Manage COTS and GOTS solutions to track and improve system security and operational performance metrics. Support network model design and analysis to inform infrastructure upgrades and procurement decisions. Demonstrate expertise in technologies including Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, MS Hyper-V/VMware, firewalls, IDS/IPS, scripting, and database security; familiarity with tools such as SIEMs, ACAS/Nessus/SCAP, and LogRhythm. Collaborate with ISSMs, ISSOs, and ISSEs to enhance the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical systems. Operate independently and effectively in secure, fast-paced environments. Qualifications

Active Top Secret SCI clearance; willing and able to complete a Government Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph, as required. 10+ years of hands-on experience in Department of Defense roles, with a strong record of performance and expertise. 4+ years of experience working in SAP and/or SCI environments within the past five years. Experience in daily management, operations, and maintenance of systems and networks, including cybersecurity tasks for Collateral, SCI, and SAP activities, ensuring JSIG and RMF compliance. Proficiency with O&M checklists; ability to develop and maintain TTPs and SOPs to improve operational efficiency. Experience operating enterprise SIEM tools and monitoring security incidents and residual risks. Experience evaluating security posture of servers, network devices, and security appliances. Experience managing COTS and GOTS solutions to track and improve system security and performance metrics. Knowledge of Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, MS Hyper-V/VMware, firewalls, IDS/IPS, scripting, and database security; familiarity with SIEMs, ACAS/Nessus/SCAP, and LogRhythm. Ability to work with ISSMs, ISSOs, and ISSEs to protect critical systems. Ability to operate independently in secure, fast-paced environments. Education / Certifications

Master's degree (MA, MS or ME) or equivalent work experience. Ability to obtain applicable DODM 8140 certifications as appropriate. CompTIA Security+ certification. Benefits
