CE Technician

is responsible for providing an advanced level of expertise in responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and providing preventive maintenance on facility systems in a large industrial environment including clean rooms. Must be self-motivated and demonstrate strong organizational/time management skills to be successful in this role. The position involves diagnosing and troubleshooting industrial facility equipment and systems such as HVAC, compressors, chillers, robotics, pumps, bearings, blowers, fans, gearboxes, air handlers and other equipment; performing preventive and corrective electrical/mechanical maintenance on facility systems including HVAC, pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyor systems, filtration systems, and coolant systems; installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical controls, switching, and motor controls. The CE Technician must identify and correct safety-related issues and perform independent equipment evaluations to identify potential equipment failures. General maintenance of equipment is also required. Compensation & Benefits HIRING SALARY RANGE: $39.84 - $60.96 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Safely performs functions of the position following proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis, lockout/tagout, and wearing PPE as required. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment across building systems including critical environment data center systems. Execute and monitor the preventative and predictive maintenance program for all Critical Environment Electrical Equipment. Understand and enforce company safety policies and regulations. Demonstrate strong electrical skills, including experience with control systems and 480V systems. Experience with air compressors, air dryers, and HVAC systems in a production setting is required. Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair HVAC machinery, cooling systems, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, conveyors, and overhead cranes. Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and actions (lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, alignments, etc.). Perform preventive maintenance on process/production equipment as scheduled in CMMS. Troubleshoot and repair heat exchange and electrical issues. Safely operate forklifts, hoists, and cranes; use safe rigging and lifting techniques. Respond to work orders with service feedback while ensuring compliance with codes, regulations, and standards. Recommend improvements to maintenance methods and equipment performance. Analyze and resolve work problems or assist others in solving problems. Operate measuring, diagnostic, and testing instruments for energy efficiency solutions. Use tools, laptops, and diagnostic hardware to perform work. Maintain a flexible schedule to meet customer needs while sustaining a productive workflow. Other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor. Qualifications & Requirements

Qualified applicants must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. Valid Driver’s License may be required. Cannot sponsor for United States work authorization. Ability to obtain a security access badge at the client location. High school diploma or equivalent; six years of maintenance experience in Industrial HVAC/Industrial Mechanical Machine Repair or Automotive Repair, or equivalent combination of education/experience. Ability to work in an aerial lift or scissor lift at heights up to 30 feet or higher. May require additional licensing per state regulations. Work involves potentially moving to different locations; travel may be required. Physical & Special Requirements

Tasks may involve repetitive wrist movement; ability to read and understand various documents or computer screens. Proficiency with office equipment and computer use to access data and prepare documents. Ability to attend site meetings and travel to other Amentum, customer, or vendor locations; some air travel may be required. Strong communication skills in person and via telephone; proficient with Microsoft products. Must wear PPE and safety gear; able to interact professionally with clients under stress.
