Food Safety & Quality (FSQ) and Technical Services Leader
to drive excellence across multiple manufacturing sites. This role will shape strategy, lead high-performing teams, and ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and company standards. Responsibilities
Champion a culture of food safety, quality, and operational integrity. Lead and develop high-performing, customer-focused teams. Collaborate with R&D, Sales, Operations, and leadership to shape FSQ strategies and programs. Act as primary FSQ contact for customers, ensuring timely resolution of technical inquiries and quality issues. Oversee preventive risk mitigation programs, leveraging predictive analytics and data-driven decision making. Ensure FSQ plans, preventive controls, and CCPs are current, effective, and followed. Partner with plant leadership to align on FSQ programs, capital needs, and process optimization. Oversee supplier quality programs, vendor assessments, and raw material qualification. Lead continuous improvement initiatives using root cause analysis (RCA) and CAPA processes. Support plant expansions, new product commercialization, and compliance with domestic and international regulations. Provide leadership in sanitation practices, environmental monitoring, and audit readiness. Mentor and coach FSQ teams, driving professional growth and operational excellence. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biological Sciences, or related field (Master’s preferred). 10+ years FSQ or related experience in food & beverage manufacturing, ideally with multi-plant oversight. Dairy experience is a nice plus. Certifications such as PCQI, HACCP, SQF Practitioner preferred. Demonstrated leadership in quality systems, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation. Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence at all organizational levels. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team development skills. Seniority level
