Job Description
This posting is a pool for continuous faculty hires. The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences seeks a temporary, non-tenure track, part-time lecturer to teach mathematics courses for one semester with the potential for renewal. Review will begin as positions open and continue until filled for the semester/academic year.
What You Will Do Design and deliver courses
Deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials
Design and deliver assessments, such as exams, laboratory assignments, and reports
Collaborate with other academics to improve teaching methods and expand knowledge base
Set and grade assignments, tests, and exams
Qualifications (Minimum) An earned master's degree in the mathematical sciences from an accredited university; OR a Master’s degree in any area and 18 graduate-level credit hours in Mathematical Sciences
Preferred Qualifications A record of successful teaching at the secondary or college level
Requirements
Mental, Physical, and/or Environmental Requirements : The ability to sit for extended periods, stand and walk occasionally, reach with hands and arms, use hands for keyboard/mouse, and good near vision for computer work; may involve minimal lifting and occasional bending or reaching.
Employment Sponsorship : This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

The salary range has been established as described above. Final compensation will consider internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.
