We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
CMM Programmer
to join our quality team. This full-time role involves programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to perform highly accurate inspections of precision parts and assemblies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
Program and operate
Zeiss Contura 5-axis CMM
using
Calypso software
and
Mitutoyo Crysta Plus M CMM , preferably using
PC-DMIS . Perform
first-article, in-process, and final inspections
to ensure product compliance with engineering specifications. Interpret complex
engineering drawings and GD&T
to determine inspection criteria. Document and report inspection results clearly and accurately for quality assurance records. Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to investigate and resolve quality-related issues. Maintain calibration and upkeep of CMM equipment and associated measuring tools. Contribute to
continuous improvement efforts
related to inspection processes and quality systems. Qualifications
Proven experience in
CMM programming and operation
(Calypso and/or PC-DMIS). Strong knowledge of
GD&T
and mechanical drawing interpretation. Hands-on experience with
Zeiss and Mitutoyo CMMs
strongly preferred. Background in a
high-precision manufacturing or quality assurance
environment is a plus. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Benefits
