Overview
All In Solutions Behavioral Health is seeking a highly experienced and compliance-focused Revenue Cycle Manager to take ownership of the financial clearance and collections process across operations in New Jersey, Florida, and California. This role ensures that revenue cycle operations meet the billing and documentation requirements of NJ DOH, FL DCF, and CA DHCS, as well as CARF/Joint Commission accreditation standards, while maintaining payer audit readiness. Responsibilities
Financial Oversight:
Direct the billing and collection workflows for all levels of addiction and mental health treatment (Detox, Residential, PHP, IOP) across three states. Compliance & Risk Mitigation:
Enforce adherence to state-specific billing mandates (NJ DOH, FL DCF, CA DHCS) and commercial payer contracts, ensuring readiness for all payer and regulatory audits. Interdepartmental Alignment:
Collaborate with Utilization Review (UR) and Clinical teams to guarantee that treatment authorizations and clinical documentation fully support billing requirements. Billing Integrity:
Supervise timely and precise claim generation, submission, payment posting, and account reconciliation processes. Performance Management:
Strategically manage denial appeals and prevention efforts to minimize revenue leakage. System Maintenance:
Ensure our billing systems accurately reflect current payer fee schedules, contract terms, and reimbursement policies. Reporting & Strategy:
Track and analyze KPIs such as Days in A/R, denial rates, and collection percentages; provide strategic reports to executive leadership and drive continuous process improvement. Team Leadership:
Lead, train, and mentor the revenue cycle team, focusing on accuracy, productivity, and regulatory compliance. Qualifications
Background:
5+ years of progressively responsible experience managing a revenue cycle, with a required focus on Substance Use Disorder (SUD) or behavioral healthcare. Scope:
Demonstrated success leading billing and collections for multi-site or multi-state operations. Technical Proficiency:
Strong working knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS; deep familiarity with EMR and professional billing software (Kipu EMR and Collaborate MD experience is highly advantageous). State Regulations:
Proven expertise in the billing and documentation laws specific to NJ, FL, and CA SUD/MH programs. Accreditation Knowledge:
Comprehensive understanding of revenue cycle standards set by CARF and The Joint Commission. Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a business or health-related field preferred. Job Details
