Role And Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly experienced sales professional to join our UK&I Special Markets Team as a Business Development Manager – Key Accounts & Large Projects - CTS. This is a pivotal role focused on expanding the adoption and utilization of Dentsply Sirona equipment solutions in key accounts and through the collaborative winning and execution of large projects, ensuring sales and revenue targets are met in line with the UK&I Special Markets Team commercial objectives. This role will be focused on, but not limited to Connected Technology Solutions and DS Core/Enterprise.
Role location: Field / UK Home Office Based | Flexible UK Location
Identify sales opportunities and see through to purchase
Collaborate with Tender & Bid Manager, Western Europe Special Clinics Lead and EMEA Special Clinicals team to identify, win and execute large tender bids throughout UK&I
Develop bespoke national and regional level workflow implementation strategies including all relevant stakeholders
Demonstrate, coordinate and coach (or facilitate the demonstration, coordination and coaching) of product and workflow solutions to support clinicians in the effective use of DS Connected Technology Solutions (CTS) workflow
Collaborate with Special Markets team on the delivery of commercial activities
Collaborate closely with the wider DS team on the execution and utilization of workflows and products in practices
Clearly communicate the benefits of CTS portfolio to customer team members at all levels
Uncover additional workflow needs and position relevant workflow solutions
Prioritise and manage educational opportunities across the country
Collaborate with DSO account regional/territory teams to identify opportunities and execute strategies
Forecast & report practice and territory level activities through effective management of SFDC
Ensure all opportunities are followed up and dealt with in a timely manner
Manage and produce effective outcomes using SFDC
Provide presentations and demonstrations at industry and company events
Organise sales demonstrations using leads, opportunities or target accounts from SFDC
Use profiling and priority tools to determine allocation of resource and time management in relation to customer onboarding
Develops, deploys and maintains tactical account projects and action plans that align workflow / Dentsply Sirona and customer objectives to mutual benefit
Provide technical expertise and knowledge as requested by key stakeholders (Dealers/Dentists/Dentsply Sirona team members)
Identify & develop workflow experts and digital leaders in the key accounts
Organise (along with the relevant team) and participate in any relevant exhibitions/events
Continue to develop a deep understanding of the dental market, particularly the clinical and procurement infrastructure and processes within your area of responsibility
Administration
Record all customer interactions and information in SFDC
Complete routine administration tasks on time and accurately e.g., SFDC calls, leads & opportunities etc., expenses, attend to emails, monthly reports, Who’s Off, LMS, PDPs (not exhaustive)
Manage resolution of complaints which have mutual outcomes
Complete training and proactive self-learning on a timely basis to maintain knowledge of all DS Workflows
Who Are We Looking For
Educated to degree level or equivalent combination of education and experience
Deep workflow knowledge and proven success in the Implant Workflow sales, with the ability to translate technical solutions into customer value at all levels
A strong foundation in commercial sales is essential, with a proven ability to drive business growth in complex, high-value environments
A natural relationship builder with a collaborative mindset
Very strong organisational skills
Confident communicator and presenter, able to influence and inspire at all levels
Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., SFDC), Microsoft Office, and data analysis platforms
Structured and clear thinker – ability to prioritise a demanding workload through business planning and account management
Able to analyse business information such as Excel Dashboards / Analytics (SFDC) / Power BI or other Sales Metrics to refine specific activity focus to achieve targets on a monthly/cycle basis
Hold a valid driving license
Able to undertake regular business travel including overnight stays where required
Consistently meets Company standards, ethics and compliance requirements
