Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a

Commercial District Manager , you will be responsible for achieving team sales goals within a defined geographic area and the day-to-day activities of the field sales organization.

Responsibilities

Develop sales plans and budgets for achieving sales goals. Review and approve or reject sales agreements based on factors such as profitability. May have direct selling responsibility in key accounts. Coach and mentor sales representatives. Forecast monthly, quarterly and annual sales revenue against target. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure sales channel coordination, accurate inventory forecasts and strategic pricing levels.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 8+ years related experience. Understanding of the business impact of sales contracts and selling expenses. Ability to manage the work of team members to optimize performance. Expert abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time. Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Excellent written and verbal communication. Substantial industry and product knowledge. Experience with Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.

Subject to applicable eligibility requirements, the following benefits are offered for this role: tuition reimbursement; medical, dental, and vision insurance; prescription drug coverage; 401(k) retirement plan; short-term disability insurance; 8 weeks paid birthing leave; 2 weeks paid bonding leave; life and long-term disability insurance.

Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 12 days paid time off, 2 paid well-being days, 1 paid volunteer day, 10 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.

Compensation

The total compensation range for this position is $180,000 to $190,000 and will be based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and education. Under the plan, target compensation is anticipated to be 75% base salary and 25% commission. New hires are guaranteed to receive at least the target commission for six months. The competitive compensation plan also includes an uncapped bonus structure based on performance exceeding 100% of the plan across three individual categories. The bonus amount increases as performance surpasses quota, so the potential payout is not fixed and can grow as over-quota achievements increase.
