VDH System Analyst – Rhapsody Integration Engineer

Job Summary
Works as part of the Virginia Department of Health, Office of Information Management (VDH) to develop and maintain multiple Rhapsody solutions. Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance Rhapsody solutions Utilize expertise in HL7, FHIR, eICR, and Javascript Demonstrate good SQL development skills Requirements
3+ years of HL7 interface experience in Rhapsody 2+ years of experience with EHR Cerner Millennium (preferred) Working knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTPs, Webservices, Microsoft OS, and security protocols Experience with SQL Server, XML, and interface engines Solid understanding of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, and X12 Proven ability to perform data mapping, transformation, and validation across disparate systems Familiarity with secure data exchange protocols (e.g., VPN, SFTP, HTTPS) and regulatory compliance frameworks including HIPAA and HITECH Skills
Rhapsody development (3+ years) HL7, eICR, Java Script (3+ years) FHIR (2+ years) javascript, SQL (3+ years) Transport Protocols: Webservices, SFTP, TCPIP, HTTPS (1+ year) Very good communication and documentation skills (3+ years)
