Overview

The University of Florida Division of Geriatric Medicine is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified geriatrician to join our mission-driven team. This is a full-time faculty appointment in the Department of Medicine at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, on either the tenure or non-tenure track. Rank and tenure status will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and career goals. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate clinician and enthusiastic educator with a strong interest in developing an academic career in geriatric medicine. The position offers a diverse clinical portfolio, including inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing facility care, tailored to the candidate’s interests and the needs of the division. In addition to clinical practice, there are opportunities to teach medical students, residents, and fellows, and to engage in scholarly work – from quality improvement to clinical research and innovation in models of aging care. Provide comprehensive geriatric clinical care in inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing facility settings, aligned with the division’s needs and the candidate’s interests. Engage in teaching and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows. Participate in scholarly activities, including quality improvement initiatives, clinical research, and innovation in models of aging care. Qualifications

Board-certified or board-eligible in Geriatric Medicine. Eligible for a Florida medical license. Foreign-trained candidates are welcome to apply; institutional support is available for visa sponsorship where applicable. Full-time faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor on either tenure or non-tenure track; compensation will be commensurate with education and experience.
