Raytheon is seeking a Senior Cyber Engineer-Information System Security Officer (ISSO) - P3 onsite to support the operations and maintenance of custom solutions and Assessment & Authorization (A&A) activities at Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role requires strong cyber experience across the full spectrum of cyber operations, including vulnerability management, compliance management, and enterprise information security infrastructure. This is an onsite position at Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado. What You Will Do

Assess known systems vulnerabilities and verify system hardening and patching activities to ensure compliance with applicable STIGs/SRGs and related checklists Prepare documentation (artifacts and bodies of evidence) to support assessment and authorization (A&A) activities necessary to ensure sustained Approval to Operate (ATO) Assist in defining cyber requirements and design solutions, provide guidance on security technologies, analyze cybersecurity data and test results, identify and implement cybersecurity design, and prepare and maintain engineering and security documentation Perform and provide vulnerability assessment results and recommendations to leadership Maintain security integrity of systems of record by ensuring basic cyber hygiene, implementing cyber resiliency solutions, and performing compliance validation/verification Qualifications You Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of relevant experience Active and transferable DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required Experience with assessments of various operating systems with DISA STIGs/SRGs and IA vulnerability testing with tools such as ACAS and SCAP Experience with network and system security administration (Linux, Cisco) and account management best practices Experience with DoD RMF Certification and Accreditation Processes and maintaining certification and accreditation documentation Experience with manual hardening and system compliance Security Certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M IAT-III (CISSP or equivalent) compliant Certification Qualifications We Prefer

Familiar with NIST RMF as described in NIST SP 800-37 Experience with information security toolsets such as Elastic and/or SPLUNK or other IDS tools Prior experience with RHEL 8 Self-starter requiring limited direction and supervision Ability to support periodic travel (less than 10%) What We Offer
