Food and Beverage Supervisor – Canopy Scottsdale Old Town
The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Outrider Rooftop Lounge and Cobre + Kitchen and Cocktails restaurant.
Overview The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Outrider Rooftop Lounge and Cobre + Kitchen and Cocktails restaurant.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the work of the bartenders at the Outrider Rooftop Lounge and Cobre + Kitchen and Cocktails restaurant.
Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate important information and updates to the team.
Lead and motivate bartending and serving staff to ensure a cohesive and efficient team.
Responsible for ordering and inventorying of bar supplies, liquor, beer and wine.
Assign duties and responsibilities to bartenders, providing clear instruction and guidance.
Ensure that guests receive exceptional service throughout their dining experience.
Conduct table touches and address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to improve the performance of bartenders.
Conduct regular inspections of bar areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hygiene standards.
Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure the smooth flow of orders and timely service.
Coordinate with the kitchen on special requests or dietary restrictions.
Address any maintenance or equipment issues promptly.
Complete all required Company training/compliance courses as assigned.
Adhere to Company standards and maintain compliance with all policies and procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience required.
A minimum of two (2) years of restaurant or hotel experience.
Licenses & Certifications
Food Handler's Card - must be state/county-specific.
Alcohol Awareness Training Certification - must be state/county-specific.
Skills & Abilities The position requires the capability to understand and follow both oral and written directions, knowledge and usage of correct business English and office practices. Must be able to communicate effectively with others, analyze and resolve problems, maintain effective working relationships, and interact successfully with internal and external customers.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent organizational abilities.
Attention to detail.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
Knowledge of food and beverage operations including catering and banquet service.
Computer proficiency in Google Workspace.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Physical Demands
Balancing and maintaining body equilibrium; walking, standing, or crouching on various surfaces.
Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and lifting objects as part of daily duties.
Grasping, feeling, talking, and hearing; standard sensory requirements for a busy hospitality environment.
Medium work: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly.
Work Environment
Extreme heat, indoor environment with exposure to temperatures above 100 degrees for periods related to weather.
