Launched in 2021, based in Watertown, Mass., Landmark Bio is an innovative venture combining industry, academia, and research hospitals to accelerate life sciences innovation. We are seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented professional with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our company. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified candidate to be part of a rapidly growing company focused on transforming cutting-edge research into breakthrough therapies. Responsibilities: Culturing and purifying various cell types, including iPSC and MSC cells. Maintaining small-scale bioreactors from 0.5mL to 10L. Performing cell transfection, transduction, and genetic manipulations. Applying purification techniques such as affinity and anion exchange chromatography and filtration-based operations. Performing general lab tasks, including equipment maintenance. Maintaining accurate records, including database management, batch records, and lab notebooks. Writing or contributing to SOPs, protocols, and reports. Ensuring safety and infection control standards are met. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in biology, bioengineering, biotechnology, or related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Strong understanding of tissue culture and aseptic techniques. Willingness to work with viral vector systems (lentiviral and AAV) and biological samples. Team-oriented, independently motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of problem-solving. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
