PMCS Group, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Owner’s Authorized Representative II (OAR II) to join our team and oversee the delivery of high-value educational construction projects.
The role involves managing all aspects of educational facility construction projects from pre-construction through close-out, ensuring projects stay on budget and on schedule, maintaining high-quality standards, and coordinating closely with stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate all project phases Review pre-construction documents and advise designers Track project progress and report to senior leadership Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies Monitor budgets and schedules monthly Review and manage contractor schedules, submittals, and RFIs Evaluate and negotiate change orders and schedule impacts Manage payments and professional service agreements Coordinate delivery of fixtures, furniture, and equipment Lead project close-out including certification and financial wrap-up About the Company

We’re looking for someone who brings: 15+ years’ full-time experience in construction and/or project management of commercial or public/educational facilities 5+ years managing complex projects valued at over $20M Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience Ability to obtain a Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential within 1 year if not already held Preferred qualifications include Design Build experience, familiarity with BIM, LEED, CHPS, and DSA, OSHA 30 certification, and registration as an Architect or Professional Engineer in California. Base pay range: $180,000.00/yr - $196,000.00/yr
