Description The Tech Product Analyst will support ETS by compiling, researching, analyzing, and documenting
data, requirements, workflows, and functionality . This role partners closely with Technology Product Owners (TPOs) to create, manage, and maintain product boards and backlogs. The Analyst contributes to product strategy, solves business/technical problems, and ensures delivery of solutions that align with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership within product and analyst teams by driving improvements, sharing ideas, and mentoring staff.
Partner with TPOs to create, manage, and prioritize product boards/backlogs to maximize sprint value.
Lead or support the most complex and high-profile product initiatives.
Write, review, and refine user stories, features, and backlog items.
Conduct requirements analysis and validation to ensure completeness, consistency, feasibility, and compliance with standards.
Translate business needs into clear and executable requirements using models, diagrams, prototypes, and scenarios.
Communicate status, risks, and solutions effectively across stakeholders and lead product meetings.
Investigate and recommend system solutions by interviewing stakeholders and evaluating alternatives.
Manage large projects or product lines independently or by leading analyst teams.
Identify risks/issues early and propose solutions.
Continuously expand domain knowledge and stay current with emerging products/technologies.
Mentor interns, contractors, and junior analysts.
Build and maintain strong cross-team/business networks.
Challenge outdated practices and advocate for innovation.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong experience with requirements gathering, validation, and documentation using interviews, storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and diagrams.
Ability to represent requirements as epics, features, stories, backlog items, models, or prototypes.
Skilled in backlog/board management throughout the product lifecycle.
Proficient in
Azure DevOps (ADO)
for writing/managing Epics, Features, and PBIs.
Hands-on experience with data querying, reporting, and analysis; ability to recommend solutions.
Advanced problem-resolution skills, including root-cause analysis.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio); ability to deliver polished and professional artifacts.
Strong planning, organization, and time-management skills for complex efforts.
Experience leading and coaching teams of staff/contractors.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desired Qualifications
Certifications: MS Azure Cloud Fundamentals, SAFe, CSPO, CSM.
Navy Federal product, service, and policy knowledge.
Experience with
ServiceNow
within credit unions.
