The Commercial Services Analyst is a detail-driven, solution-oriented professional who supports strategic initiatives that drive revenue and improve operational efficiency. This role leads data analysis, streamlines reporting, and develops presentations to inform key business decisions. The Analyst supports Sales & Revenue departments on cross-functional projects and reports to the Vice President of Sales. The budgeted salary range is $75,000 - $85,000, with bonus eligibility for salaried roles. Applications for this position will be accepted until October 15, 2025. Essential Job Functions / Key Responsibilities
Analyze data to spot trends, assess risks, predict outcomes, identify opportunities, and make recommendations. Research market insights and business opportunities; assist with core business development activities. Collaborate with commercial and operational leadership to implement processes that optimize group, events, and leisure business to drive satisfaction and retention. Monitor data integrity across core systems/platforms (e.g., Delphi FDC, Meeting Broker, HMS, Duetto, Cvent). Define and implement process enhancements for daily operations, including escalations, efficiency, and workflow design. Write data-backed reports to support strategic decisions by the VP of Sales. Develop financial models forecasting business outcomes and profits. Prepare presentations for the VP of Sales for stakeholders including ELT and ownership. Assess and improve requirements-gathering processes and leverage these processes more effectively. Evaluate options for process improvements, including business process modeling and economic evaluation of new opportunities. Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts for presentations. Assist with budget cycle and related communications, reporting, mix analyses, BI uploads, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred. 2 years of hospitality experience required. 2 years in hotel sales preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Proficient knowledge of industry trends and research data; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to exercise independent judgment and strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of prioritizing and executing tasks under pressure. Team-oriented with effective communication and leadership to maintain a collaborative environment. Ability to manage competing resources and priorities; strong presentation skills to convey findings and recommendations. Ability to document projects, processes, and operations. Work Environment & Physical Demands
Ability to stand, type, and sit at a desk for extended periods; repetitive movements as needed. No adverse or hazardous conditions; occasional lifting up to 25 lbs preferred but not required. Benefits
