Territory - Laguna Hills, CA; CMH1; 170738 Responsibilities
Account-based selling to health care providers (HCPs) who prescribe and influence treatment for disease states represented in the Lilly portfolio, including customers in multiple HCP specialties and key hospital accounts. Be a credible expert and resource supporting all medicines and appropriate brand patients. Drive results by embracing Lilly’s Selling Model, Competency Model, and Account Management Model to meet customer needs through strong execution. Build relationships with key customers to drive utilization and adoption of Lilly medicines for the right patients. Operate within the Regional Healthcare Market with consistent ways of working and use the Virtual Medical Hub where appropriate. Specific responsibilities
BUSINESS OWNERSHIP
Promote the full portfolio of priority products with multiple HCP specialties. Understand the territory marketplace; evaluate and tailor the territory strategy to grow and own business outcomes. Navigate the evolving healthcare and payer landscape to influence key stakeholders and become trusted partners. Utilize data and analytics to identify trends, priorities, opportunities, and obstacles. Adopt new technologies, including AI tools, to streamline customer interactions. Identify and advocate for opportunities to enhance the customer experience and model a growth mindset.
SELLING SKILLS / CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
Embrace the company’s selling, competency, and account management models to elevate performance. Demonstrate learning agility to understand disease state, marketplace, clinical trials, and product labeling. Engage in patient-centered dialogues with customers to promote the BU portfolio.
EXECUTION / RESULTS
Promote across BU-portfolio and HCP specialties; adhere to regional practices and utilize the Virtual Medical Hub. Achieve targeted sales and execution metrics while following company policies and procedures. Own customer relationships for product promotion, on-label medical questions, and market access. Be accountable for results across all accounts, from individual HCPs to large health systems. Foster trust and collaboration by building and maintaining internal and external partnerships.
Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree. Professional certification or license required to perform this position if required by a specific state. Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not sponsor work visas for this role.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS / PREFERENCES
Demonstrated business ownership, selling/customer experience, and execution/results skills. Account-based selling experience with ability to engage staff in accounts. Strong learning agility, self-motivation, teamwork, and emotional intelligence. Bilingual skills as aligned with territory and customer needs. Residence within 30 miles of the territory boundary.
