Salary: $125,000 - $200,000 per year. This is a permanent position for an experienced professional with a passion for estate planning and wealth management, including probate and trust administration experience. Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive legal advice on trust and estate planning, wealth management, and wealth strategies. Prepare and review legal documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives. Handle probate and trust administration matters. Prepare and file federal estate and gift tax returns (Form 706 and Form 709); experience is a plus. Counsel clients on tax implications and strategies related to estate planning and wealth transfer. Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure high-quality client service. Stay updated with developments in trust and estate law and taxation to provide accurate advice. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, focusing on overall financial goals and values. Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. LL.M. in Taxation is preferred, but not required. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Trust and Estate Attorney. Extensive experience with probate administration and trust and estate planning. Comprehensive knowledge of federal estate and gift tax returns (Form 706 and Form 709). Proficiency in wealth management and wealth strategies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Must be licensed to practice law in the state. Equal Opportunity
