We are seeking an experienced
Estate Planning Attorney
on behalf of an exclusive client to join their
Estates & Trusts Practice Group . This is a unique opportunity to work closely with principals and senior attorneys in a collaborative, client-focused environment. Key Responsibilities
Estate Planning & Document Drafting:
Prepare and review wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives. Tax & Fiduciary Planning:
Advise on strategies to minimize estate and gift taxes, avoid probate, and establish/administer various trusts. Estate & Trust Administration:
Guide clients through estate and trust administration, ensuring legal compliance and honoring the decedent's wishes. Fiduciary Litigation:
Represent clients in will/trust contests, fiduciary disputes, and contested probate matters. Professional Collaboration:
Work with financial advisors, accountants, and insurance professionals to deliver integrated planning solutions. Client Counseling:
Conduct client meetings to understand goals and develop customized estate plans. Qualifications
Minimum
5 years of experience
in complex estate planning and administration. LL.M. in Taxation
(with Estates & Trusts focus) or
CPA designation
preferred. Admission to the Maryland Bar
(or eligibility to sit) required. Admission to the
DC, Virginia, or Florida Bars
