As a Sales Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for clients seeking exceptional outdoor living solutions. You will guide them through our consultative sales process, provide estimates, and close deals that turn visions into reality. Responsibilities • Generate and qualify leads through networking, marketing initiatives, referrals, and walk-ins • Consult with clients to understand their needs, lifestyle, and budget for outdoor living spaces; educate them on our design-build process and product offerings • Conduct site visits to gather measurements, evaluate site conditions, and collaborate with our design team to prepare accurate proposals (design team handles the design work) • Present design concepts, cost proposals, and project timelines to clients; address questions and objections and negotiate contract terms • Develop and maintain relationships with clients throughout the sales cycle, ensuring a smooth handoff to project managers and design team upon contract execution • Achieve and exceed sales targets while delivering outstanding customer service that reflects our YARDIST values • Stay current on industry trends, products, and pricing; continuously improve product knowledge to better serve clients • Represent Hiner Outdoor Living at industry events, home shows, and networking functions Qualifications • Proven sales experience in high-end residential construction, landscaping, or outdoor living industry, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; ability to build rapport and trust with clients • Working knowledge of outdoor living products, materials, and construction principles (design software experience is a plus but not required) • Ability to perform basic site assessments and read design plans; comfortable working with design and project management teams • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to conduct site visits around Colorado Springs area • 1–3 years of sales experience in a related field • Must reside within commuting distance to Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple prospects simultaneously • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales pipeline management is preferred • On-target earnings (OTE) of $80,000–$120,000+ (base salary plus commission) • Paid time off • Full medical, dental, and vision benefits • Opportunities for professional development and growth within a fast-growing company Seniority level
