What You Will Do

Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous RedHat Enterprise/Microsoft Windows environment. Lead and coordinate Red Hat installation and configuration. Design, develop and deploy RedHat Podman containers. Participate in all phases of engineering software installation and support, with emphasis on testing, documentation, and acceptance phases. Experience in Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods). Collaborate in a fast-paced, teams-based environment. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of moderate to high scope and complexity, including hardware/OS integration. Provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software related to a Linux/Windows infrastructure for classified programs. Duties include server management, storage management, cross-platform authentication and access management, data backup/restoration, software/licensing configuration, and workstation support. Must obtain DoDD 8140/8570 certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) within 6 months of start date. Systems are operational 24x7 and may require work beyond standard hours. Full-time 100% onsite position. Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years of experience. Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Experience with technologies such as RedHat Enterprise Linux, Active Directory, WSUS, VMware, BackupExec, NetBackup, Windows or Linux administration, Backup and Recovery enterprise suites. Qualifications We Prefer

Active DoD TS clearance, or the ability to obtain one. DoDD 8140/8570 Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) and an OS Certification. Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF. Experience with data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies. Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development. Experience with Microsoft WSUS, SCCM, and/or Exchange. High Performance Computing (HPC) in a Linux environment. Experience with server architectures and troubleshooting; ability to develop solutions and documentation for technical problems. Experience using VM technologies (VMware vCenter, vSphere), Linux/Windows desktops, Splunk, ESX, and other virtual computing methods. Scripting/automation with PowerShell, Bash. What We Offer

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range is a good faith estimate and may vary by experience, location, and skills.
