We offer an excellent opportunity for a passionate Wastewater Market Sector Leader who understands the “One Water” concept, emphasizing synergies across water markets. This role involves collaborating with local and national leadership to develop research, planning, design, and engineering services for water agencies and related sectors. The leader will serve as a client manager, potentially acting as Principal in Charge, Project Manager, Technical Lead, or Quality Manager. Responsibilities include project pursuits, research, planning, design, financial analysis, operations & maintenance, and exploring new market opportunities. The role also entails working with practice leaders and discipline groups on technical standards, marketing, and quality assurance. Mentoring junior staff and participating in industry organizations through presentations and publications are key aspects of the position. Primary Responsibilities

Develop and implement long-term wastewater strategies for HDR’s North Texas area. Lead HDR’s wastewater branding and engagement in professional organizations. Collaborate on project pursuits, develop scopes of work, and support staffing and talent development. Identify and promote wastewater initiatives in the marketplace. Participate in industry associations and serve as a company role model. Manage client relationships, marketing efforts, proposals, and interviews. Function as a project manager for large projects, ensuring quality and risk management. Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering. Master’s degree in engineering, planning, or related field. Professional engineering registration (if applicable). At least 10 years of experience in major water infrastructure projects. Experience managing municipal water and wastewater projects and teams. Hands-on project engineering experience for at least 5 years. Strong leadership, organizational, and staff mentoring skills. Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in engineering, planning, or related field. Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience. Experience in strategic marketing and client relationship management. Proven staff development and industry involvement. Our Values and Commitment
