Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to contribute to the development and qualification of power tool products. The Senior Reliability Engineer is a critical member of the New Product Development Team reporting to the Quality/Reliability Manager. The role requires strong cross-functional communication and analytical skills to launch new solutions that meet user needs in a fast-paced, iterative environment. All teams touch every step of the process. Our Engineering teams contribute to continuous innovations by delivering heavy-duty, high-performance products and leveraging advanced analysis tools, extensive testing regimes, and state-of-the-art manufacturing processes. Product Development

Lead teams for new product designs and engineering changes with respect to product reliability, user requirements, and warranty information Participate in User Need Research to identify critical-to-quality (CtQ) requirements on mechanical and electrical design features Track multiple projects simultaneously to ensure adherence to schedule and Milwaukee Tool processes Support Advanced Engineering activities at targeted CtQ needs Collaborate with Engineering and Marketing to define product specifications across reliability, quality and testing Apply designed experiment techniques to improve development efforts Lead Design and Manufacturing Risk Assessments (NPD projects) during the product development cycle Engage with domestic and global suppliers involved in product development Testing and Analysis

Lead planning and analysis of product durability using advanced reliability and testing techniques (HALT, ALT, HASS) Ensure timely failure reporting and lead root cause analysis with effective corrective/preventive actions (FRACA) Develop test plans and procedures to ensure products meet customer requirements Lead testing laboratories in implementing test plans/procedures and best practices Analyze data using statistical techniques (e.g., Weibull analysis) and present findings; mentor RE peers Draw concise, logical conclusions from experiments based on data analysis Job Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent 5+ years of experience in reliability and quality Experience with new product commercialization processes emphasizing design, manufacturing, quality, test, or reliability activities Experience with quality engineering fundamentals and leading a primary function within a project team Experience with Design of Experiments, life data analysis, and related statistical tools/software (e.g., Minitab, Reliasoft) Strong written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills Ability to travel up to 10% (domestic and international) Preferred: ASQ Reliability Engineering Certification (ASQ-CRE) or pursuing certification Preferred: Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) or Six Sigma experience Milwaukee Tool is an equal opportunity employer.
