Construction Sales Estimator
who blends
technical precision
with
relationship-driven sales . Pomona, CA (On-Site) American Precast Concrete, Inc. Key Responsibilities
Estimating & Proposals Review plans, specifications, and bid invitations to prepare accurate, detailed estimates. Develop professional proposals aligned with client and project goals. Collaborate with internal teams to finalize pricing, scope, and logistics. Generate takeoffs, material quantities, and cost breakdowns to support bids. Sales & Client Development Follow up on submitted bids and convert opportunities into awarded contracts. Identify and pursue new projects through bid boards, construction networks, and referrals. Build and maintain relationships with architects, contractors, and developers. Promote American Precast systems by getting specified into project designs. Collaboration & Reporting Partner with project management for smooth handoffs of awarded projects. Track opportunities and pipeline activity in CRM (HubSpot or similar). Provide regular reports on bid activity, success rates, and overall sales performance. Qualifications
3+ years of experience in
construction estimating
(concrete, precast, or related industry). Strong understanding of construction drawings, takeoffs, and bid processes. Excellent communication and relationship management skills. Proficient in Excel, estimating software, and CRM systems. Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented. Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary:
$85,000 – $95,000 (DOE) Commission:
