MOCO Movement Center is an outpatient private pediatric occupational, physical and speech therapy practice located in Kensington, MD. We are an autonomy-focused, interdisciplinary, function first, and play-based clinic.
We collaborate with community organizations to apply therapy in real occupations of childhood, such as rock-climbing, ice-skating, music, swimming, sports, and more.
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about working with children and their families to reach their fullest potential. They must be comfortable working with children ages 0-22, conditions that include but are not limited to Autism, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Sensory Processing Disorder, Learning Disabilities, Developmental Delays, and Orthopedic Conditions.
MOCO Movement Center provides mentorship, continuing education funds, and an interdisciplinary environment to support both new and experienced therapists to grow and develop their clinical skills. Skills in DIR/Floortime, Feeding, Sensory Processing, or Neurological conditions are welcomed but not required.

MOCO Movement Center is a peanut free facility. Some latex exposure can be expected. Qualifications
Valid occupational therapy license and relevant certifications Experience in pediatric care and treatment planning Proficient in developing and implementing care plans Familiarity with variety of evidenced based treatments and modalities Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment Knowledge of physical, emotional, and social development Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric clients to develop individualized treatment plans Implement occupational therapy interventions to improve client and family-centered functional goals Educate clients and families on plan of care and home carryover Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive client care Monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client records and treatment outcomes SALARY: $74,000-$110,000 including base salary, benefits and performance-based compensation. Commensurate with experience. Benefits include continuing education credits, employee assistance program, and paid time off.
