Weekly outpatient therapy isn't always enough, and a trip to the ER isn't the only answer. Patients and their families rely on CompassHealth Center when in crisis – every day, we help people overcome depression, anxiety, suicidality, obsessions/compulsions, trauma, chronic pain, and other obstacles in order for our patients to live freely.
About This Role
Compass Health Center is seeking a leader for our Young Adult and Adult Program overseeing Primary Therapy at our Oak Brook facility.
Our rapid growth continues to create new opportunities as we push for better and differentiated care for our patients seeking treatment for anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and other co-occurring conditions. We are looking for an experienced clinically licensed therapist who will lead evidenced-based therapy to adults (18 years and up) and who will lead, supervise, manage and mentor Primary Individual Therapists within the program.

What You’ll Do
Providing direct managerial oversight to Primary Therapists.
Collaborate with all leaders in Oak Brook and across Compass to implement strategic changes to increase quality of care for our patients and the success of the Over 18 team.
Accountable for ensuring program KPIs are met and leading/executing on related program goals.
Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) as well as other evidenced-based therapies.
Identifying hiring/staffing needs and participating in interviewing and hiring process.
Executing new hire onboarding and staff development.
Initiating employee performance appraisal and staff performance improvement program compliance with accrediting bodies.
Leading the day to day execution of policies and procedures as well as the mission and objectives of Compass across the Over 18 team.
Managing program paid time off to ensure adequate staffing patterns.
Responding to clinical crises as needed and coordinating response of others.
As indicated, participating in community outreach.
Overseeing calls about program eligibility and appropriateness. Ensures referrals are provided as needed.
Training and oversight of Primary role including intake, evidence-based approaches, Joint Commission rules and standards, clinical policies and procedures.
Providing group, individual, and family therapy, as needed.
Communicating with patient’s family members or support system, as needed.
Coordinating care with patient’s outside providers to ensure continuity of care.
Assessing patient’s progress and need for higher level of care or discharge.
Engaging in frequent communication and collaboration with team members via rounds, EMR notes, emails, and face-to-face communication.
Charting progress of patients appropriately.
Who You Are
Master’s level clinician with 5+ years of post-master’s clinical experience conducting individual, family, and/or group therapy.
Clinical licensed required: PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT or LCPC.
Knowledge and experience of group dynamics utilizing CBT, ACT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing, among other effective treatments.
Experience with patients in crisis.
Experience supervising mental health workers, both licensed and seeking licensure.
Excellent time management skills, ability to juggle multiple demands simultaneously in a fast paced and changing environment.
Strength in collaborating and consulting with various programs and their differing needs.
We are committed to a fair and equitable work environment. The compensation range for this role is $90,000 - $115,000 USD and may vary based on experience, location, and certifications. Compass reserves the right to update these ranges. This role may also be eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
