RAPP Chicago – Freelance Account Executive

YOUR ROLE : The Account Executive is a coordinator with potential in core business leadership skills. You will understand the agency portfolio of offerings and how to apply them to solve client business problems. You will partner with and own relationships with client stakeholders and help keep agency operations moving. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES : Acts as a liaison between clients, internal team members and other agency partners Active listening to client needs and feedback; communicates clear next steps to the internal team Builds and fosters client trust; manages feedback and requests against the scope Builds strong internal relationships and maintains a positive attitude Proactively partners with a Project Manager to ensure timelines and deliverables are met Manages projects with guidance from managers Supports Sr Account Director and Account Supervisor on more complex projects; communicates progress Assists Account Supervisor in developing kickoff briefs for new projects Works across customer experience touchpoints with Tech, Contact Center, Strategy, MarSci and other Account Leads Responsible for client satisfaction and service/product quality Maintains attention to detail and can proof client-facing materials Builds relationships with other agency partners in an IAT environment Open to feedback and able to course-correct Stays calm under pressure and manages project challenges with a solution-oriented approach REQUIRED SKILLS : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 3-4 years experience in direct marketing, advertising, and/or digital marketing Previous integrated marketing account experience and CRM experience a plus Excellent planning, organizational and problem-solving skills Strong teamwork, communication and time management skills Ability to multi-task and handle cross-functional projects Ability to build relationships and maintain communication with clients and internal teams Experience with Strategists and/or Data Analysts a plus Basic exposure to Technology (platforms, systems, user flows, product release schedules, etc.) a plus Experience working with multiple Agency partners and building relationships Champions the client work and serves as a voice for them internally Experience working with a Contact Center team a plus Eagerness to learn and ask questions to understand the business RAPP supports a hybrid work model with options to work from home two days per week. A reasonable estimate of the salary for this role, at the time of posting, is $36 - $43/hr. This range is Chicago-specific and factors in skill set, experience and training, certifications, etc. If your requirements fall outside this range, you are still welcome to apply.
