You will be the Software Engineer Sr for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team. Our team designs, develops, and manufactures precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. Lockheed Martin is a global security and aerospace company with about 114,000 employees. MFC is one of four Lockheed Martin business areas. As a Software Engineer Sr at MFC, you will join a large network of software professionals, implementing cutting edge technologies on existing and new development platforms. You will help solve the world’s most difficult challenges across domain areas such as aircraft flight command and control, air traffic control, health care, and homeland defense. This is a matrix engineering and technology environment, so you may touch multiple programs over your career. What You Will Be Doing
As a Software Engineer Sr, you will be responsible for developing and integrating software solutions for real-time embedded systems, including hardware in the loop (HWIL) environments. Responsibilities
Develop Embedded Software in C/C++ (version 11 or higher) Integrate algorithms into C/C++ applications Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that solves business/mission problems using data processing equipment Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software to develop software for business/mission applications Identify and correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, document program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls Why Join Us
